I believe the sliding drawer is always like that - taking up the entire
screen when opened.
Besides my very modest sample, there is a number of sliding drawer-type
code examples / snippets on the web, some are quite feature-rich. I
remember seeing one on Google Code, there are probably dozens of them :)
