Will it be possible to unlock phones that are currently not unlockable? I really want to get root access, so I can load an ad blocker, permissions controls and backup software, none of which will work without root access.
I don't think that these apps are anything unusual, and I miss having them on my SE Ray, having had them for some time on my previous Android phone. Will any future updates allow root access? It would be even better if it were possible with a simple update direct from SE. If the update process involved requesting a specific update, after submiting the IMEI to SE, then using adb to push it to the phone.
