Your code is *almost* fine, but doesn't send the progress message after
creating it. Calling obtain() does not send the message, it just, ughm,
obtains it.

Try this: msg.sendToTarget() after msg.setData(b);

And you don't really need to use a bundle here, Message can carry two
integer values on its own (check out overloads for obtain(), or set msg.arg1
/ msg.arg2 directly).
