Can anyone please tell me how to compile a regular XML file into an Android binary XML file? There's got to be a simple way to do this. It seems absurd to recompile the ENTIRE Android source tree just to get at ONE such file. Or, how to rebuild only framework-res.apk from the relevant portion of the sources would be great also.
I've seen several tools that will do the reverse (decode binary XML) but I have not been able to find how the "raw" XML is encoded when building an apk. @Dianne: I actually saw you posting somewhere completely different - hence my ignorance of this group. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
