Does anyone have a sample of working code using the 3.2 OS version of the ADK accessory libraries?
All the demos I've found online have been for the 2.3.4 add-on libraries. With all these demos I achieve one of two possible outcomes: 1) If I compile and install the 2.3.4 based version on my tablet (Dell Streak 7 w/ 3.2) then it does the "handshaking" to recognize the attached accessory and launch the app but then it immediately crashes the tablet app (with Force Close being immediately displayed). 2) If I update the project to be compatible with the 3.2 conventions then it does the same "handshaking" but no data is transferred back or forth between tablet and accessory and after about 3 attempts to send data from table to accessory the tablet app freezes (and will eventually display Force Close). I'm using: - Arduino libraries and sketch from the ADK download - Several different versions of demo code including the one in the ADK download. - Dell Streak 7 w/ Android 3.2 - Seeeduino ADK main board (which is basically a 2560 Mega with the host shield built on the main board). I have a USB Host Shield 2 on the way which I will try with a standard Arduino. At that point I will also upgrade to the version 2.0 of those libraries. However, at the moment I think the issue is on the tablet end (because I wouldn't expect for the handshaking to work if it were on the accessory end). Also - has anyone successfully set up tcpip debugging with a Dell Streak 7? Every time I've tried it's simply not responded to the adb open command which then makes me need to "reset to defaults" to get USB host debugging back again. I feel so near yet so far! Any help gratefully received. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
