You are absolutely right in saying that such kind of applications are not good from users perspective. But what I want is if its possible then we as developers can create applications using that functionality for good purposes for end users. One more thing its not that UI of the application will never be visible to the user. Only the actual user of the phone will be able to view UI through special code. For example, say when user presses #123456 only then will the UI appear. Being a developer even I dont want user to be at loss since after all they are the one who will be using the application. Every coin has two sides. We should look at the positives and use that for development. If starting application at startup is possible in Android then one can really develop very useful applications.
