Thank you for your posts. I guess the emulator just isnt capable of opengl es 2, but the demos are very misleading. You can go to api demos>graphics>opengl es 2 and it will run. If you see the code in the sdk samples folder, it is opengl es 2. I will try to run the sample on my phone asap
