I was following this guide lines:

http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/notifiers/notifications.html#CustomExpandedView

which states:

"[...] to use the standard text colors on versions of Android lower than 2.3, you should use the following styles for res/values/styles.xml:"

<resources>

</resources>

Which produce a White color on a light gray background on the Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 emulator... It's obviously very hard to read...

Should I ignore this guide lines?

anyone sharing experiences about this?

ps: The secondary color is fine, but I need the primary too...
