I think our app was nr 48 in the appstore when it opened so not that new :-) I've been to Google's offices so I know (contrary to common belief) that there are actually human beings working with the Android Market that can be spoken to and they were actually quite responsive one-on-one. Big mistake to not get their phonenumbers though as contacting them through Google+ doesn't give much response.
I really hope that someone from Google reads this and can ask the market team to have a look. That a fake DMCA can take down our app without Google taking any action really is beyond what I thought could happen in the marketplace.
