Ok, for the first point, I can agree with you.
For the eventual solution, I can't. For example, if I want to check the SSHD status on a different port than 22 (maybe 2222, or anything else), it's difficult (even impossible). In this case, I will need to do a complete list of every services (too long to do that). So, I will "block" the use of my application to the Wifi mode.
