I want a service separate from testing. Running an app without installing reduces friction, there is no steps getting in the way of using the app. Your comment about trials is exactly the type of feedback I want. The nature of the solution I had in mind lends itself to trials or timelimits in apps. This would encourage users to try an app and if they like it to buy it from the android market.
