As subject, I really wonder why my live wallpaper (but also a lot of
other lwp out there) get a *massive* boost in fps when you drag the
homescreen: until you keep the screen dragging around the lwp is fast
as hell, but in the moment you release touch, goes back to its normal
speed.
Since the activity is set up to run at a specified fps why does it
warp like the Enterprise when panning between screens? Sounds to me
like a os level protection to save battery when the user is not
playing with home-UI bling bling, and that boost performances when
someone is moving stuff.

Is there a way to overcome this? Strange that nobody is talking about
that on forums around the web, or probably I'm not aware of the
specific keywords to find it.
