Nope... The code simply isn't there, it's not in the framework, it's like if you want some library on a machine, but the user doesn't have it, you have to live with it..
If you absolutely wanted to you could design your own low level view which kind of does the same thing, but this would be quite involved, compared to just flipping a bit somewhere...
