thanks a lot for your reply!

I didn't guess that this question would force anybody to download and
install
the Winamp for Android app... I just thought that this google group is
big enough
to have a few people who know this app and who could give some
advice...

Since I don't see any way to add screenshots to this mail (I'm writing
here from the
google account), I just surfed through the net and found this
screenshots:

where the left picture shows the "hidden" audio-player (just a bar
upon the control
buttons) and the full audio-player which could be shown by sliding the
bar to the top
(just like the status bar could be expanded).

hope I could anyhow explain what I want to know, if you need some
further information
please don't hesitate to ask me - I'll be thankful for every advice ;)
