Apologies - that's a typo in my post. I meant to write:
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android";
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:orientation="vertical"
android:background="@drawable/mybitmapdrawable">
</LinearyLayout>
That is what is coded in the application.
If the <bitmap> tag is considered a drawable, then why would I get the
error I got?
Perhaps I should file a bug ... I wonder.
