Hi there,

great app.. using it for my apps..

TreKing, on the Android Market you can search without entering a package
name, that's true, but your search result will contain ALL apps with the
given keyword, so, how do you know in which page a user will find your app?
You'll need to change pages and count one by one to know yours app ranking
position.

Thats the idea of the app. With the package name, the app knows which one
is your app, and do the job for you.
For example, you have a car race game with package com.foo.mygame

The user search by keyword "race" on the Android Market, your app can be
listed in somewhere on page 5.
If the user search by keyword "car race", maybe your app can be on page 1.

So you can track your position by keywords that a user may use.

Tip: you can add more than one time the same app on "RankingMe", with
diferents filters and keyword.
