Consider the following statement general:

  inputStream = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("xanadu.txt"));

Usual practice is at the end of use we execute the statement 'inputStream.close()'.

Question: is it necessary to do 'FileReader.close()' ?

Just curious, examples I have seen just 'inputStream.close()'.

Thanks.
