Thanks for responding, Mark 1. Direct download can't be done from server, must execute the script to create download
2. WebView with Javascript enabled is preferred solution, but I've tried unsuccessfully. Execution of script in WebView does not produce download. No errors are reported to WebViewClient.onReceivedError(), so I abandoned this strategy.
