I had this problem as well, and after searching the discussion groups, I saw several people had the same issue. Trying to launch an application to a device, you get a message like: [2012-01-16 13:07:21 - IdleTime] Performing Mateer.com.IdleTime.IdleTime activity launch [2012-01-16 13:07:23 - IdleTime] Uploading IdleTime.apk onto device '3132E52FFE9200EC' [2012-01-16 13:07:31 - IdleTime] Failed to install IdleTime.apk on device '3132E52FFE9200EC': timeout [2012-01-16 13:07:31 - IdleTime] Launch canceled! [2012-01-16 13:07:44 - IdleTime] ------------------------------ There are several suggestions offered in the discussion groups, making sure you have necessary upgrades, stopping and restarting various components, etc. None of the suggested solutions worked for me. In addition, I was seeing the same problem on two completely different dev machines, leading me to think it was a device issue. I started by force stopping other running applications and services on the device until I was able to successfully deploy. Google Services was the app that I stopped that allowed me to again deploy to the device. Since this dev platform/device combo worked well in the past, I am making the assumption that a recent update to Google Services caused a regression. It could be, however, that this particular error is caused by a number of different conditions, and I just happened upon the condition that caused mine. Hope this helps, this was a real bugger for me.
