Thank you both for your answers. Yes, it seems that we will have to
stick to using the USB Host on the Android device.

It seems there are a couple of phones supporting USB Host as well
(Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Desire HD). Maybe more will come out. If
they have Android 4.0 they should.
