yes, but that would take up more real estate.
i ended up adding a prompt string as the first
element in the list model when i made the array
adapter. and then removed it when the user made
a choice that was not the prompt.
is this a sane thing to do?
or is there a better way? maybe change adapters
when the user makes a choice that was not the prompt?
