A facility to go back to the Home screen has to be provided by the hardware or the system (for instance with a soft button.) It is definitely NOT the job of the applications to provide a way to go back to the Home screen. As such, these ports would have to find a way to let the user to back to the Home screen without requiring the applications to implement this feature.
