Hi All, Could Anyone share the design doc or the info regarding the support for multichannel capability in android Stage fright.
What i know from seeing teh source is There is a Data structure Audio.h which supports Multichannel. 1.But mediaplayer audioplayer have support only fro mono and stereo.I mean they hard code to either one of these.Is that right?,If So The change in these is sufficient ? 2.No changes needed in Parser as it is generic and it supports teh meta data for multichannel,Is that correct? 3.Changes in audio flinger,audio track for Multichannel support? 4codec parameter settings to support Multichannel? Could anyone Please suggets that apart from these is there any changes in Framework .At present i am not considering the Audio HAL and hardware layer.
