I am designing a broadcast middleware in Android platform. It will use a DASH (video) decoder and DRM agent. I would like to know if the OpenMax IL is the best choice for this work. The design requires flexibility and scalability, such as today's software DASH decoder component can be replaced with a hardware decoder in the future without changing other software. The OpenMax AL or DL is either too high or too low for this job. Please help by your generous comments.
