I am looking for suggestions for a detailed reference or tutorial on image processing (diffusion, and possibly other special effects such as the equivalent of star filters, difraction filters, etc.).
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm guessing that the canvas is going to be involved, but the references for the canvas that I've found so far all talk about painting, drawing lines, etc., not stuff like image processing. Am I wrong about the canvas being the appropriate tool for the job?
