The project I'm working on it's a kiosk type application, and the soft 
keyboard has to be visible all the time, so the user has the option to 
either type on the physical keyboard or on the soft keyboard on the screen.

An usb scanner will be attached as well, and Android is treating it as a 
physical keyboard, so as soon as I plug the scanner, the soft 
keyboard disappear.
