I created the peferences.xml file into the res area again manually from the eclipse. I was putting it directly to the root file in my workspace and the eclpise could find the root file. It was just an eclipse classic problem as i have read in other blogs, sometimes "crashes" when you change things directly from the workspace file. I'm new in android and every day i discover new things about how eclipse works.
