Hi All, I can't find dedicated group to design discussions that would be open for questions one might have after reading Android Design guide lines<http://developer.android.com/design/index.html> .
So, here it is: There are date, time and number pickers. There is no a lose picker that would let me pick from the set of strings, for example set of cities. I know I can use a simple spinner for it. So the question is: Do designers behind the guide lines think that the pickers with up and down arrows are good for numeric choices and for strings the spinner is a better metaphor?
