I have heard that Android is trying to dis-allow this completely. I was just wondering if anybody could verify this. Basically, I am working on an application that relies heavily on communication between a server that is hosting a web application. One of my goals was when the page loads and detects that an android device is accessing it, to be able to search the android local file system for an .inp file to use to continue with the interactions on the webpage.
