I looked at that also, and this doesn't give me what I want. For my HTC Legend phone, this returns "01".
I am expecting: "3.15.405.3" or "3.15.405.3 CL291292 release-keys", which is what it says under "Software number" and "Build number" in my "Settings/About Phone/Software Information" activity.
