Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I understand now. I never considered that the dev guide might be wrong. I've always understood, from this list, that it is *THE* reference. Of course, I saw an example in the camera sample page (.../guide/topics/media/camera.html) it shows great examples such as "catch (Exception e)" which, I gather, is REALLY BAD.... So I shouldn't be too surprised. But again, how would I duplicate that mode without PorterDuff?
