the trouble is when I want extrat the pixels of a picture taken by android camera, i find big numbers greater than 255 !!!!
The first step to getting answers to a "my code doesn't work / doesn't do as I expected" type of problem is to post some of your code around the affected area. Without it we almost certainly can't guess what your problem might be. It could be you're using the API incorrectly, using a less-than-optimal technique, combining values incorrectly, or simply using / extracting information incorrectly. Without your code, we'll never know.
