Hello, I'm new to this forum and to Android developement. I got problems programming my device (Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660V) so I decided to post. Initially I downloaded a thermometer app, Thermo by Antonio Tonev, it works giving the ambient temperature. After that I tried to make my own thermometer app and I found that it didn't work, I'm totally unable to get results. Then downloading other applications related to sensors and reading my phone specs i found out that it doesn't have a temperature sensor. My question is: how can the application Thermo by Antonio Tonev report temperature if my phone doesn't have temperature sensor? Thanks a lot for any answer. Alfis
