Google must do something about this. I had even devised a simple method of discouraging (rendering ineffective) the most basic LVL hack. It simply involved using bogus qualifications and setting a boolean switch to indicate if a negative value returned, then only accepting a positive value if a negative had just been received. It didn't work even after I removed that logic, though.
This is not acceptable so let's keep up the pressure on Google to fix it. I submitted a support request. I'll give that a few days and see if anything comes of it. They make it difficult, though.
