What is the max data an EditText box can hold before it breaks? Is there some kind of hard limit, or does it depend on the memory of the phone and available stack size, and can you set it? Does it act like a FIFO when this limit is reached, does it crash, or does it just block incoming data. I am not talking about the android:maxLength="20", which I believe just sets the number of characters that are displayed at once, while still holding the rest of the data which has been entered into it.
