Please let me know if I should direct this query elsewhere. I looked for the android-beginner group mentioned in the Community documentation but didn't find it. This group seemed the best match of what I could see. I am a beginner with the Android SDK.
I am running Eclipse Indigo and Android 4.0.3 AVD on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. To simplify the case, I have written the app described in the Hello World tutuorial. The app runs as expected in the emulator, except that errors appear in the LogCat window when I run the app. The error from netd is the first error that appears, so I would like to start by fixing whatever is causing this error.
