Hi All, My Requirement: I want to use a tablet (Android 4.0) and send print command to a legacy printer (dot-matrix printer) which is connected via USB.
What i have: I have Linux drivers of the printer. Apps available?: Most of the apps are focused to the printers of new generation (e.g. Wifi Printers) and the only printer app which speaks about USB printing is *PrinterShare, *i still have to test the app using USB. * PrinterShare* uses its account and its application which needs to be installed on PC and the print command passes from Wifi through PrinterShare account to PrinterShare PC application to printer/network printer. I wanted to understand, Can i use the Linux driver, hire a developer to create an app which will connect printer to the tablet directly and print. Waiting for some feedback, Thanks, Amit -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
