You are welcome to build your own firmware that includes an app that can call an emergency number based upon some series of button presses. An ordinary SDK app cannot call an emergency number, cannot "save datas about the smartphone's owner" by playing some message into the phone conversation, and cannot respond to power button presses. Instructions for building and modifying your own firmware can be found on http://source.android.com, along with discussion groups relevant to that topic. -- Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) http://commonsware.com | http://github.com/commonsguy http://commonsware.com/blog | http://twitter.com/commonsguy _The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development_ Version 3.7 Available! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
