Hey, I am working on an application that, among other things, shows a list of other applications created by our company, linking to Google Play/the Android market, where they can be downloaded. The problem is that not all of the applications are available for all devices. So it can happen that an application is in our list, but once linked to Google Play you get a pop-up that says "A server error has occurred...". This is of course not very useful. So we would like to check for all the applications in that list if they are available for the current device in Google Play. Is there any way to do that? And if so, how?
This question is sort of linked to https://groups.google.com/d/msg/android-developers/wj4uc0J9yT0/R9U2T8dFqrYJ except that where that developer is interested in case 1 (is the market/play app available), I am interested in case 3 (is the application available for this device). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kaspar P.s. I have tried to post this question before but could not find it anywhere, so my apologies if this ends up being a double post. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
