My Galaxy Nexus just updated to 4.0.4. I have Android File Transfer on OSX 10.6.8.
Just noticed that when I plug my phone in via USB, AFT doesn't launch like it normally does. When I manually launch the app, I get an "Android Device Not Found" error.
