Hello,

I am searching for a way to initiate and control a circuit switched phone
call with my application. Is this possible? I have already found this one:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/android-developers/cs$20ps/android-developers/p-s5u90B7P8/-y8LEYgjE00J

But this does not really help. I found as well some info’s where some ppl
tried to get the PhoneFactory class (which is not part of the SDK but in
the Android Kernel) and use this to initiate a call -> without success…

So I landed here. ;-) So I am not sure but it seems that my desired
solution is not possible. Of course I would be glad to be corrected here.

As alternative it could also just be to initiate the call. In the Android
Market I’ve already found some dialer apps so this should be possible. Do
you have some hints on which you can point me? API links, howtos tutorials
are welcome.

For the curious <http://www.dict.cc/englisch-deutsch/curious.html> ones
;-): my final solution shall organize cs calls with switching to ps (packet
switched) calls.

Many thanks for reading best regards.
