@Streets Of Boston Unfortunately the LogCat does not show anything suspicious. I have overriden almost all functions of WebView and WebChromeClient to see what's going on. I can see it starts downloading files and then simply stops in the middle. @Pent Absolutely. If something goes wrong it is pretty annoying to find out why. In this case I am pretty stuck completely. I am fighting with this since months. It must be up to something they have changed after Android 2.x, because it works without any error in Android 2.x.
