I think the point the OP wanted to make.

If you have a rooted device:
How can you grant certain 'root' features
to one app, but not to another one?

As I didn't root my device so far I don't know whether and what exact security risks there are having a rooted device and installing somebody elses app compared to installing somebody elses app on a non rooted device.
