I recently performed an experiment for a forensic exam on a Kindle Fire,
prior to rooting the Kindle traditional methods were not effective. After
the root, I noticed the Kindle had or took on part of the identity of the
host computer that root was performed on. I am fairly new to the Kindle
and rooting android devices, so I am not completely comfortable with it. I
used Android SDK, to perform the jailbreak, so my question is: why or is it
normal for these changes to occur? I obviously know that the device
changes to an Android, but after imaging and processing it appeared with
other attributes of computer used to conduct the root.

Forensic experiment.
