Hi,

I have a couple of basic layout questions:

1. How to get a widget to take all of the available screen height, except
for room for a horizontal LinearLayout at the bottom of the screen

(at the moment I'm getting around this programatically, but surely this can
be done in the layout xml itself?)

2. How to get a set of buttons to align left, and another (smaller) set to
align right, and the middle to be a blank background taking up the rest of
the available space?

To do this I've tried nesting LinearLayouts with width set to
wrap_content and gravity left or right, within a LineraLayout with width
set to fill_parent, but the left buttons go to the left, and then the right
buttons go next to the left buttons, and the space is to the right

Cheers,

  Chris
