For the main acitivity I have this code:

import android.app.Activity;
import android.content.Intent;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.Menu;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.EditText;
public class MainActivity extends Activity {
public final static String EXTRA_MESSAGE = "com.example.myapp.MESSAGE";
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
}
@Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {
getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.activity_main, menu);
return true;
}
public void send(View view){
Intent intent = new Intent(this, MessageActivity.class);
EditText editText = (EditText) findViewById(R.id.edit_message);
String message = editText.getText().toString();
intent.putExtra(EXTRA_MESSAGE, message);
startActivity(intent);
}
}
For the second activity I have this code:

import android.widget.TextView;
public class MessageActivity extends Activity {
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
// Get the message from the intent
Intent intent = getIntent();
String message = intent.getStringExtra(MainActivity.EXTRA_MESSAGE);
TextView textView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.textView2);
textView.setText(message);
// Set the text view as the activity layout
setContentView(R.layout.activity_message);
}
The id textView2 is correct. Also the layout names.
But when I try to emulate it.. it crashes.
What I´m doing wrong?
