Hi, My client asks for my keystore file to let an other developer to sign the new version of the .apk I developed previously.
Should I do that? Is there a way to develop an Android application further without having the original keystore file? I read in the Android documentation that if one signs the app with a new keystore file then the app could not be updated on the users' phones but have to be reinstalled (as if being a totally new app). What is the Google's statement about it? How can an other developer can continue developing an existing app without having the original keystore file? Thanks in advance! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
