While my preferred dev environment is the mac or linux, I'm teaching an
Android programming class and at least 1/2 of the class use Windows and
don't have the luxury of changing platforms. So I try to "feel their pain"
by using windows under virtualbox every now and then.

I've been able to get the drivers for the Nexus 7 installed, but the
drivers for the Galaxy Nexus is proving to be a problem.

1) I download an exe file from samsung for the SCH-I515 device as directed
by the google/android directions.
2) Running the exe file fills a directory in C:\program
files\Samsug\USB_DRIVERS with 22 directories with names like:

01_Simmental
02_Siberian
...
07_Schorl
...

and each of these have directories name amd and i386 as well as a few other
files.

None of them are named README. :-(

My virtual machine sees the phone connected, but when I try to install a
device driver, it asks me to select the directory with the device driver in
it. I've tried a few, but have seen the VM crash. (This is Windows 7 not
3!).

Has anyone been successful at this? Any hints?

Thanks much

Dave
