I can confirm that this is happening to me too, though I can't say for certain that it is just edge. What on god's green earth could possibly be happening? They should just be IP bits transiting their network. This sounds suspiciously like stateful inspection gone very, very bad.
One of my google buddies got bit by this too. Is there a known issue opened in the bug database?
