Just to reiterate -- these questions in context of non-rooted phones, running Andoroid GB.
1. Can an OEM (not the default GB launcher), be replaced with a new custom Launcher ? 2. Can a Launcher, which doubles up, as a Locker (i.e. prompts for password before allowing you to proceed), be used to allow access to a small subset of installed apps ? Note that the no. of apps actually installed may be more, than what I intend to make available via the launcher ? 3. Can pressing the hardware MENU button, with-in Launcher app, behaviour be modified to show only the limited / restricted subset of installed apps ? 4. Can the default application that is used to make & receive calls, be replaced ? 5.
